Homework should be kept up regularly since quizzes are taken from homework problems. Make up exams may be given only if the instructor feels the reason for the absence makes the absence absolutely necessary.  Make up exams will be more difficult than regular exams. Unexcused absence from a regular exam will result in 0 for that exam. Unexcused absence from the final will result in F for the course.  Instructor reserves the right to check validity of excuses.
